Hi, I’m Jess

I’m a self‑taught artist living in the seaside suburb of New Brighton in Christchurch, New Zealand.

I began painting in May 2025, learning entirely through experimentation. I started at the kitchen table in the spare moments outside my full‑time job, and now I create from my own home‑based studio.

My art journey has led me through a range of inspirations, with florals and soft pastel palettes becoming clear favourites.

Painting has brought me so much joy, and my hope is that these artworks make the colours in your world feel a little brighter too.
