I took the reference photo for this painting on a family holiday in the Dusky Sound. This was one of my first attempts at capturing light within a painting. I love how the glow washes over the mountains and reflects off the water.
Size is 20.3 cm wide by 25.4 cm tall. Medium is acrylic on canvas finished with a gloss varnish. Canvas is unframed.
